Melodies

I’ve been hearing melodies
You’re always chiming when you lie
And your muffling is on repeat
Repeat, repeat

And when you’re gone I feel redundant
Repeat, repeat.

Entrapping at night
Feeling right
And now you inveigling is on repeat
like the fortnightly purge
I'm dancing because you’re offbeat
Repeat, repeat.

I’ve been hearing melodies
I don’t like your lyrics
I’ve been hearing melodies.
When you’re here I feel clichéd

I just wanna be part of your choruses
Save me from the intriguing overlap
You don’t want to go transmuting with me
And when I'm with you, all i have is express thoughts
And I'm dancing because you’re reciprocating.

Everyone is idiosyncratic sometimes
And now your signifying is on repeat
Your words cut deeper than a needle
And when you’re gone I feel stagey
Then you came with all your subverting
Still I feel stagey.

I’ve been hearing melodies
You must think I'm an unoriginality
And now your infringing is on repeat

I just want to be part of your choirs
Part of your verses
You vocals.
I’m dancing because you are indiscreet
Repeat, repeat.

I don’t like your intentions
Repeat, repeat!

You aint ever gonna be discreet,
You are my worksheet
Repeat, repeat.

I’ve been hearing melodies
They’re on repeat, repeat.

Still no one but me can hear them…
