Melancholy
Moonless darkness of gloomiest spirits, she sat
Engrossed in sorrowful thoughts
Like the sun during a storm, she was
A dreary persona dead with hopelessness
Numbness swept through her veins, and then like a
Cloud blanket cracked apart by rays of light
Her cornflower eyes glistens in pain
Of the numerous things that swayed her life
Little by little she learned the way to survive
Yet it took away her time
