Megeary's Violin

I took a trip to Ireland
because I had never been
I loved the people there
They are so happy to share
None have hearts so big
Treat them right
and most any night
They'll invite you to an Irish jig.
Forward two
Bow to friends anew
Now you can retreat
Turn around
Touch the ground
Now stand up and stamp your feet.
Take your partner by the hand
give her a gentle spin
All done to the melody
Played on Megeary's violin.
