Meetings, the Practical Alternative To Work

Meetings, the Practical Alternative to Work

By Elton Camp

Do you want others responsibility to share
Then workers into a meeting you ensnare

What might have brought you derision
Then becomes a business group decision

Stand at the front as the meeting you start
Point with a stick as you show a flip chart

To feel important, the way that is best
Is to talk way down deep in your chest

“In my judgment” is what you must say
Not, “Well, I think it ought to be this way.”

The meeting game you should surely play
It always helps to get you through the day

You can eat donuts on the company’s dime
All while you manage to kill lots of time
