meeting the halloween laundress

the Halloween laundress is right over the hill
if you hurry, she might be there still
I had spilled a bit of ketchup on my dress
What a shame, she said, “what a mess!”

She took out a wet wipe and wiped me clean
How much do I owe you? I asked this ghostly queen.
I am a laundress, it was my pleasure she said.
I have not charged money since I turned up dead.
