Meeting Others
As the ebb tide reaches forward to greet the sand,
So does a hand reach to touch the heart of another.
It is with love we should reach out to our fellow man,
For after all, are we not sisters and brothers,
Only from different mothers?
Yet, in fact, we share more than our time on this earth,
We share dreams, loves, and hopes and even share fears.
Our directions or the roads we choose were given at birth
Offering new people and destinies to meet year after year.
So, offer your hands to those who are near.
