meeting a gorgeous owl

a gorgeous owl glided to my Kansas farm house in the middle of thunder
inspired my imagination, filled my writing pen with a bit of awe and wonder
I knew she was not a barn owl, for she did not have a ghostly white face.
She stayed around during the torrential rain, then she flew off with grace.
