Meet You In My Dreams
Strolling down our favorite place on the sandy beach.
I can see your handsome face smiling back at me.
Its 10pm on the dot, the time we always meet
I walk towards your smiling face, you make me feel complete.
I can feel the icy wind blowing through my hair.
The waves begin to crash in again; I can smell the salty air.
I can feel your velvety lips as they gently press on mine.
I feel so warm and bubbly as though I’m on cloud nine.
I can feel your strong arms wrapped around me so tight.
We both look up at the starry sky n the beautiful moon so bright.
As I lay my head on your shoulder, a shooting star flies by.
I make the same old wish; for you to always be by my side.
I can see your brown eyes, staring back at mine.
This where I want to always be, I wish I could freeze time.
You take me into your arms and we dance the night away.
Humming all our favorite songs that we always use to play.
Its 5am already, we cuddle as the sun begins to rise.
Time went by so quickly, I just hate saying goodbye.
The tears started to roll, but you gently wiped them away.
You kissed me on my forehead and assured me everything will be okay.
You will always be watching over me in all that I do.
And when I’m feeling sad, I just gotta close my eyes and think of you.
You will be there by my side to hug the pain away.
And when I fall to my knees all I have to do is pray.
We get interrupted by a buzzing sound; my alarm clock goes off again.
Your image slowly disappears like water down a drain.
I wake up and wipe my teary eyes, a new day now begins.
But at 10pm on the sandy beach, is where I will meet you in my dreams
