Meditation

A million,million
     stars shining above
tell us we
should feel the power of love
But people on the street
(and there are so many there to meet)
Keep their eyes on the prize
and they are feeling rather wise
 Stop telling us lies
We'll give you a surprise
This beginning marks the end
 Of troubled times, my friend
    There is nothing to fear
As a brillant light comes near
Proving we are
all one beneath a blazing sun
   And so time rolls
on by
   We no longer ask why
Our own fate is the truth
Do we need further proof?
When the city shuts down
   We''ll get a nice rest
    We've passed
    our first test
Overcoming the
day's sorrow
We anticipate a
       bright tomorrow
 Our eyes become clear
The future's almost here
Before slipping out of sight
I wish you all a good night!

Those last two lines bring a great poem to a satisfying conclusion. I like!

It's importnt to look forward to a brighter tomorrow even when things are bad. But we need wisdom to be able to see what's wrong and fix it without destroying what is good. Good write here. God Bless, JB

I find this comforting but in a strange way since it seems to be saying the end is near. but it is said in an optimistic way. Maybe a start over for the earth? maybe we fly off to another planet. In any event, I enjoyed it.

Nice write, very hopeful message about the future, which couldn't be so unless we realize we are one under that brilliant light. Thanks for sharing. Peace and love, Caroline.
