Meditation

Gently lift the heavy burden
calmly close your eyes
Time to slowly cast-out uncertain
thoughts that agonize

Take the 'word,' say it over
softer, lower, every time
Let your mind lean on your shoulder
there is no need to criticize

Let thoughts drift down the river
Let dreams flow swift and cool
The mind is one's only giver
The body is one's only fool

Drawing closer to real being
finding life's inner meaning
Now, you're at the point of learning
with each descent, there is no returning.

'...there is no need to criticize,' ...judgement plays no part in the meditation process. Gently direct the person on to their own path. Well said my friend! Best wishes, Keith
