Medicate

One and two were easy.
They were necessary.

Three was for the thrill,
my behavior’s pretty scary.

Number four was just a blur.
Not sure where it came from.

By the fifth I was out my mind,
any reasoning far gone.

The sixth one took awhile,
but eventually it came,

two days in a row
tried to swallow all my pain.
