Mediations at the Sea
I've come to the seashore before the night
to imagine far lands with purple skies
welcome serenity into the twilight
redeem my soul as I eternalize
To release dark Angels from their disguise
and finally, heal and not be mournful
as I stand on grains of sand in the tide
seeking peace at a sea I don't control
I'll find reflection while counting the waves
and search beyond the oldest scars I find
to free me from my darkest yesterdays
where they've hidden in my silent mind
today I came to seek and discover
to heal my soul from all I uncover
