Meant To Be

Denial devours all emotion A truth you choose not to hear But my love has a stronger devotion In the end, the message is clear. Fate's hand you refuse to take It doesn't fit the plan Forever more your heart will ache But in waking, you will understand. Your soul is grey--there's a void inside Loneliness leads the quest To a trusting heart, you have lied Now put your soul to test. Time, quickly, has slipped away The answers all are scattered But to love, it's just another day You know now, nothing else matters. So close your eyes and hear my heart Let it lead you back to me The fact that we've been long apart Doesn't mean it's not meant to be.
