Meant To Be

you and me cant ya see we were meant to be
but where do we go from here,
with all the tears i've shed through fear.
now my hearts suddenly aching, 
yet im still breaaching...

but i know who i am, i know where i stand,
i know what i feel inside, and im not ready to say goodbye.
when i lay my head down at night,
i wonder what i should do,
i need to find out the truth..

so why cant you see what your doing to me
dont you know that its killing me.

the way you said things would gowooooaahh
the way you said things would be.. would be
nothing turned out the way it seemed.
so i was acting like your princess 
crying in the tower room
you were acting like my prince 
trying your best to improve

but you didnt realize, you had me petrified
the moment i glanced in your eyes
you had me hypnotized, 
you know i'd do anything to get you, 
but your still worried im going be untrue

you mean the world to me
dont ever let me go,
you never know what we could be
just open your eyes, and make beleive
