Meaningless Verses
She was as radiant as the sun
Her skin shone like the moon
Like flowers blossom in June
Far back in time
I could remember
From January and down to December
We boasted about the virtues of our wives
But it was the rape of Lucretia
That struck me like a thousand knives
And of the valour and honour
Which we so cherish in our lives
A never ending voyage
In a sea of mystery
So that our good deeds will be written in scrolls
And books of history
Survival is a game we play each day
In this world of misery
In search of gold coins
We dig deep in to the earth's core
I search of wealth
We open up new frontiers
But not any more
Forgetting the destruction we do each day
And back with our own coins we shall pay
Opportunities are abound
But not for us all
Except those giants and goblins who dream tall
And like a jobless youth who watches time fly
And blames his government for his woes till the day he dies
I am the master of my fate
But I need the divine guidance of the Lord
To show me the path that will make me great
Thinking is a gift
Which is inspired by God
Inherited by a few
Especially those who seek the Lord
Knowledge is that which we seek in return for answers
Ideas are like music
Played to the three merry dancers
These meaningless verses that I write
Is so easy to decipher
Get on board this scholarly bus
And I will be your mentor and adviser
