Me stuttering

When I was born.
I was born to fight.
My words were trouble and they didn't come out just right.

Kids would laugh and call me names.
Just because my words wouldn't come out the same.

I dream my troubles would just go away but
My words were still hard to say.

I would come home into my room and cry
Sometimes I wish I could just die

I went to a speech therapist and
My life wasn't the same.
That's when my words begin to change.

When it was time to read
I used to have a big frown.
Now you couldn't stop me from putting my left hand down.

Never ever give up a fight
Believe in God and he will make everything alright.
