Me and You

You and Me

Now You Say It's over
And of Course I must Agree
We Lost All of Our Battles
But I Don't Think We'll Be Free

The Laughter That We've Shared
And the Special Times Together
Have a Way of Haunting Me
And I'll Remember Them Forever

Time Will Heal the Pain
At Least I Hope That's True
And Maybe There's Still Hope for Me
Even Living Without You

I Have No Magic Potion
That Can Switch Love off and on
But Maybe I Can Learn
This Time You're Really Gone

I Have So Much to Learn
And Time Seems to Be the Key
It's Just So Very Hard Sometimes
To Accept..There Is No More You and Me

I love your work. It really emanates from your heart. I'm sure you touch so many hearts with your poems which are nature in itself. Thanks Friend, JM
