Me and You

I cant stand the look in your eye
the one you have for me
it tastes so bitter
but so so sweet

a tender kiss
from an innocent touch
to the extreme
i'l be at your door
waiting
with heart bleeding news

(bridge)
We'l sip our wine
or gulp it down
their both the same when its all on the line

standing in each others shoes
neglecting one another
depending on the booze
the hope that oneday love will forgive us
we won't be a fool for long
that day we lost our trust

the aromas are so deceitful
filling the room
with all these people
diamond and candy
are both the same
when you come from a world
where love is a game

these two storied houses
empty to the bone
bitter and twisted families
similar to our own
arguments that fill the air we breathe
depleting oxygen as we speak

(bridge)
We'l sip our wine
or gulp it down
their both the same when its all on the line

standing in each others shoes
neglecting one another
depending on the booze
the hope that someday love will forgive us
and we won't be a fool for long
that day when we lost our trust

Now, take me back

take me back
take me back
take me back
(repeat 3 times)

And we'l kiss and cuddle till 2am
my chest on yours
still feels the same
this moment's ours
we'l claim it back
my heart beats stronger against yours
say it, believe it, dream it, do it
Im yours, your mine
we are together for the rest of time
