Me and Mine

My heart is love,
As hopeful as the white wings of a dove.
I hold out my hand, ever satisfied with just enough.
Caring and wise, strong and unified
With each and every heart, each and every friend
I take their heart in mine
And love them for all time.

 My soul is music
 Watch me dance.
I hear the rain drops fall.
I hear the leaves in the wind prance.
 Each moment a song,
 Each minute a symphony,
Each glorious sound lasting an eternity.

 My body is time.
 Always showing where I've been,
 How old I am
Be it wrinkles or the youthfully smooth skin.
How easily changeable is the thing I live in
I treasure it, lest it come to fail me at the end.

 My mind is mine
 To think what I will.
My own to remember the memories where time itself stood still.
 My consciousness was hard won.
All patience to influence is gone.
I will think how I want, and maybe my idea's will live forever on.

 My heart is love.
 My soul is music.
 My body is time.
 My mind is mine.
All of these things, I find them divine.
 They are who I am,
They are what makes me me.
And, to be honest, I think I can live with that quite happily.
