Me and Dad

ME AND DAD

Once in Annual Exam, shocking jerk!
I missed rank and prize only for one mark.

One mark on aggregate of eight hundred!
Injustice! The child took it for granted.

Next year first rank placed me in highest glee.
Second score reached forty marks behind me.

Dad embraced me, 'My child! Feeling so fine.
Your success is more joyful than that of mine.
