Nobody understands her or truly cares if she is alright The signs are so obvious yet, nobody notices She has given up and is refusing to fight Not one person sees how drastically she has changed and that something is wrong Silently she has been crying for help But her cries have continued going unnoticed for far too long Time passes her by and she stopped caring at all Nothing seems to matter anymore Hiding from the world staring at the wall Nothing seems to make sense anymore She transformed into a completely different person Nothing like who she was before Questioning herself and who she really is now Desperate to find some hope Yet, she doesn’t know how Shattered hopes and crushed dreams fall on the floor She no longer bothers to pick them up She doesn’t have any reason anymore Searching for a sign to regain her faith and return her smile Unable to find her inner strength Happiness has been a stranger and has been for a while Words are scrambled making no sense at all Trying to describe emotions inside herself Unable to stand on her own she begins to stumble and fall Her tongue gets tied with every attempted word Constantly contradicting herself Appearing absurd A stranger to herself she no longer knows herself anymore Nothing like what was believed Nothing like who she had been before Appearing completely different as if wearing new skin Locking herself away from the world And too afraid to allow anyone close enough to get in Unsure of herself; she closes her eyes so that she can’t see Blinding herself from reality Hiding herself from me
