Maze Runner

I walk around in my mental cage Grasping unto fictional bars Circus animal on a stage Freedom is bottled in crystal jars Prison time, time prisoner, we share visual chards Watching out the same telescope Trying to catch falling stars We make a wish, holding on to hope We’ve battled reality till we learned to cope But it doesn’t feel like we’ve won Always back on the hill, the hanged man by a rope We put on a show as we run, run, run, run My left turns lead me to my right And my right turns give me a sense of pride You who’s watching, tell me something You who’s watching, tell me anything Seems like I know nothing and they know everything The spectators of our life just stare Peek-a-boo, am I entertaining you? Let’s play truth or dare It’s fine because anything I say or do is nothing new You see what you see From the outside looking in, thinking you know me But my mirror says, If only it was that easy Free, free, free, I want to be, I want to be Of the world’s perception of me Free, free, free, I’m the maze runner Welcome to my corner This is my corner Hmmm, yes, I’m the maze runner Welcome to my corner
