Maze

Too much imagination, Rarely good, After a good night’s sleep, Pleasing for some, Pampered and yet, Exhaling tiredness, Definitely because of the pretence, In a maze, I’m caught, Never ending. Many dreams, Away being, Zipped to an, Emotionless garden of vines. Peppered with dust, And old, Twisting, turning, Hollow and ditched, Sinuous paths. Lying amidst, Overly dark thoughts as I walk, Suddenly feeling just the wall, There to trap me. Written 06/28/2020 Posted 06/29/2020 For Dear Heart’s Maze- 10 Word Challenge Poetry Contest
