Notes About The Poem

One of a book of poems I wrote for my grandson, Oliver. This one features a cuddly toy rabbit named Mayo.

Mayo the Rabbit

Mayo the rabbit has a very strange habit,
but he isn’t a monk or a nun.
He spreads out on ham, lettuce, cheese, bacon, spam
that’s been sliced up and placed in a bun.

Oh, this is a darling little poem! I think the children would be smiling from ear to ear, because not only is it humorous enough for the adults, they would "get it too". Love this!
