Maybe Only Just For One

As the end draws near and all quiets down The mood shifts to one of sombre tone Those around wrapped in the art of conversation Talking, listening to what the other has say But the conversation dies down We settle for the comfortable silence That drifts in between like old friends Resting, propped against a shoulder The other with head laid on head The silence that passes form one to the other As both drift towards sleep says enough. But maybe only just for one
