Maybe I don't want to go

Listen to poem:
The air is cold As the night is dark Placing all sins on hold; I don't want feelings; so stark Didn't listen; but I had been told A coarse time sets reaches its tidemark It does not change; it matters not if you're bold Once you have boarded, this is a one-way embark Had I asked a thousand times, I shouldn't have waited till I was so old Maybe I don't want to go; but the river Stix navigator does not speak or bark

How contrite and different this poem is, sometimes...our paths seem to flow out of our hands in the river Stix....like you said. Would that we were a perfect creation to our Creator.

Perfection is a difficult goal to strive for, I personally believe we will be judged based on how we attempt to live for it. I personally want to be remembered as someone who didn't see it in myself, but looked for it in everyone that I have interacted with. Regards A.S.

Your poem paints a vivid picture of a somber moment, marked by cold air and dark night. The theme of holding sins on hold and avoiding stark feelings adds depth to the emotional landscape...

We are all marred by sin, feelings of sadness, acceptance of this is what I seek in my time here.... warmest regards A.S.

We all find the end at some point.... there is no shame in asking to extend the moment.. thank you for the recognition! A.S.
