Maybe All Elves Are Not Horrible
The elf ducked down low when he saw the dainty faerie dive into the lake.
He did not want to frighten her, so he was quiet, and stayed to the other side.
In minutes her halo had found its way to the elf; what should he do?
She was getting out of the water.
Could he catch her?
“Pardon me, Faerie.”
She turned and saw kind eyes.
“I believe this is yours.”
“Are you an elf?” She asked.
He nodded.
Would he pull her into the water and drowned her?
She had only heard bad things about elves.
She trusted his eyes and reached for her halo.
He smiled and released it.
Maybe all elves are not horrible.
