Maya
She dances through the winter snow,
The sky is overcast, threatens to fall below,
She's a beauty with a dream,
With a doggy for a friend,
I see her from a distance,
Can't believe she's a human being
A fairy or an angel,
Would be an apt description,
A skin so smooth and tender
Oh my heart could barely stand her,
With darkened locks of hair,
My manhood up was stirred
I wish that I could reach her,
Tell her she's a fantasy..
Oh what life would be, without this novelty,
This beauty so complete,
Its as perfect as a myth,
Boy I wish I knew,
Something I could do,
To get her smiling at me, that is all the help I need...
See her going past me,
Slowly gaining distance,
I suddenly feel so desperate
Making tonnes and tonnes of wishes,
And just when I would stop,
All hope then was lost,
She turned and looked around
And waved to something there about.
I knew not who she waved,
But my heart beat was in spate,
Filled with so much yearning
I could hear the words it said,
Then she called my name,
With a voice as cool as rain,
Was struck so dumb, I couldn't respond
Just stood there staring lame...
I could see she was confused
Thinking she was mistaken,
She turned back to her path
And in no time she was away,
I stood there on the spot
Savouring her voice,
That moment I would treasure
Even if I hadn't a choice..
So I know I'm a fool,
Please tell me what to do,
If I never see her again
I don't know what I would do,
Yes her name is Maya,
So pure as raw desire,
She walked abreast a torch
And set my dry-brush heart on fire...
