May Your Battle Be Won

Preparing to bathe, she looked in the mirror.
Something looked odd and she knew instantly.
The very next day the doctor verified,
She was not afraid, faced it positively.

Within a week there were CT scans ‘n tests,
And surgery to remove the malignancy.
All the lymph nodes were clear ‘n all was well
Some radiation but no chemo, luckily.

I was blessed when I faced cancer years ago.
If it happens to you, so much has been done.
Women are not just surviving but living well.
GOD bless all of you, may your battle be won.
