May We, May You, May I

May we have a chance to see this world
For all it has to hold
With love that lives and lives the love
As together we grow old

May we share with one another
Our deepest inner being
To live, to laugh, to love, to share
Our every hope and dream

May you feel the way I feel for you
For if you do I'll know
That never will our love subside
It will only grow

May I be the man to hold your hand
And see you walk the aisle
As I'm standing at the other end
With a teardrop and a smile
