May We Live To Live Once Again
Watching the time through an hourglass,
We see how quickly the years pass.
Each rule of life we ascertain,
May we live to live once again.
Our youthful days soon come and go;
The more we learn, the more we know.
Once we’ve lived life against the grain,
May we live to live once again.
Our faces wrinkle as we age,
Hoping for relief and assuage.
We struggle through this life of pain—
May we live to live once again.
Through all the suffering and grief,
As time goes on, we find relief.
Breaking free from each lifelong chain—
May we live to live once again.
Returning back to grains of sand,
As the wind blows over the land.
When only memories remain,
May we live to live once again.
