May I Dance With You

She cried All Hallows Eve dancing under the twilit moon, nothing to feel except the fear rushing through her veins- She knew the night of Halloween would be coming soon, and she would see her monster with blood-stained fangs. The mirror disguised all hope for her redemption, the comfortable torment from last year brought anticipation- She knew deep down she would never be an exemption, although her lover died during a quarrels reconciliation. The eventide of anxiety reached its highest peak, dismay captured her essence and she lost all her ease- He arrived every Halloween but never did speak, for he was made to bring death to the roaring seas. One look at him she was filled with trepidation, for another dance would really do her in this time- But deep down she envied his thirst for retaliation, as they danced, what was really going through his mind? Deep dark secrets constantly reveal intimate desires, the vampire arrived when she needed him the most- His anger ignited a blazed moment ending with a bloody fire, and she quickly burned turning into a hallowed ghost. Halloween is not a night of tricking or treating, not for children to dress up as if they were vicious- Not for adults to pass out candy while greeting, but for bloodsuckers tasting life, so delicious. Dancing in tears with a tormented vampire, brought her deep fears filled with desire. May I Dance With You Contest Sponsor: Galeo DS October 19, 2016
