May First, My First

I'll always remember that day
We used to laugh on that first of May
I was like earth, and she was heaven
Her sweet, sweet, smile could make life even

And here I stand on this mountain top
On this first of May, thinking my life is flop
Writing this poem to her memory
On that faithful highschool day, once upon a century
