May Blossom
Caressed by the Earth you are a selected one,
Destined to prosper under the enduring Sun.
Urged forth you begin a deliberate grow,
Impatient at first, disappointed when slow.
Touched by a raindrop to refresh your resolve,
To never bow down or tremble to fall.
Reach for the heavens to view your cause,
Look about at the worldly fascinations that awe.
You are no part of this empty darkness unlit,
Splendid is your light and warmth is your gift.
Poise and pursue to put life in perspective,
Wanting only purpose and meaning to life.
This is why you are cherished each and everyday,
You could be nothing else, for this is your way.
Be glad for the wisdom you profoundly display,
A beautiful beginning each 5th day of May.
