Light of day or dark of night

Shadows dancing to our delight

Stars twinkling in the sky

Clouds quickly moving by

The stillness in the middle of the day

In this the month of May

The sun shines brightly thru the day

Wind blowing softly coming my way

Spring is here to stay

In this the lovely month of May
