Notes About The Poem

May

New month opens the door, We are already in. May has other story to live, another line to step on, fresh flowers to smell new nests to take care of. May plays music for deaf ears, only indigo souls listen to the notes. Weather plays with us, we are grey and dark, shiny and bright. The sky is above us showing us many faces. Blooming makes us smile, soon as we wake up. May has the magic key, if it wants to use it.

Maria, I am really moved by your extraordinary, profound, and beautiful poetry. The return of migrating birds and the beginning of flower blooming make May my favorite month.

Lovely poem, dear Maria. May is my favorite month not only because here in Malta we dedicate to Our Lady, but also because now flowers begin to bloom and migratory birds return.
