Maud and the Void

All my sorrows to the sea
And all my worries for the well
Worry free, my heart to be
In shreds of joy myself to dwell

Wherever be that well of glee
However sweet that ocean swell
You find no answers by the sea
And no solutions in a well

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Beautifully written. I love all the alliterations from the first stanza return in the second one. And indeed, the answers are not found there.. Welcome to PoetrySoup.
