Matthew 5:9

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God”
There are many who read the bible, both here and abroad
Some will find wisdom in this text of written word
Others will lose translation and his message will not be heard
Many of these words will get twisted to lend aid in man’s docket
They will ignore the truth, just to keep filling their pocket
Peacemakers will not march with a banner in hand
Nor will they take joy in bringing discomfort to our land
You will not find peace in dragging others down
It will come from the father and his son who wore that crown
We make peace with God by believing in his son as our savior
We must respect and love all and follow Jesus’ moral behavior
