Matters of the Heart

The hardest to govern
Is that of the heart,
Sometimes desire and love
Are mistaken from the start
Often they are confused
As one another
When all one needs
Is really a lover
True love
Is so very rare
For rarely found
Is the perfect pair
There are times in which
That one finds full heart
Then something happens
To tear it apart
Time is the essence
As love grows strong
Reminisce one shall
When their lover is gone
Rare is the find
Of the perfect part
For the hardest thing to govern
Is that of the heart
