Mathematical Love

For 14 years I have dedicated everything to you,
For 10 years I have made you my wife.
For 8 years you have been the mother of our kids,
For 14 years you have been my whole life.

For 7 years I have been losing,
For 6 years I have been out of touch.
For 5 years we've hardly kissed,
For 7 years we haven't talked much.

For 4 years there's been that glimmer in your eyes,
For 3 years you have hardly been in my life.
For 2 years we haven't spoke,
For 4 years we haven't been husband and wife.

For the past year I cant stop thinking about you,
For the past year I've tried to find out what I had done.
Forever I shall think of you, wish it wasn’t over,
Forever you will always be my number one

Interesting write my friend. Love the numbers and how they play a part in this piece. Very good.
