Mater Planten
“Mater Planten”

A blustery day with north wind howling,
Just three days ago spring appeared prowling.
Water lays puddled in our yards low spots,
Weather changes, tie sinuses in knots.
Today my thoughts are on garden planting,
But forty half barrels leaves me panting.
Container tomatoes are all I grow,
Epson salts always make vines overflow.
I’ve high potassium so I cant eat,
so the widows at church will get a treat.
It's something I've done since i was a boy
and though it's hard work, it gives me much joy
