Master Mind

He was the master of her mind
Controlled her thoughts and moods
Dirty deeds he had done
At first, she didn't have a clue.

They did what they could,
To make her look like a fool.
Some family she literally despised
Dealing with this just wasn't cool.

Her heart they had torn in two.
He had destroyed what was left, too,
Because of the hell she went through
Never dreamed he'd stoop this low
To do the things he'd do.

She had become a drunk
To drink away her sorrow
Only way her mind wasn't controlled
She already had plans for tomorrow.

As she held pills in her hand
Tears ran down her cheeks
She had thought of this for weeks
She began to think, realized wasn't worth it.

His dirty deeds, he wouldn't do
Could never tell the truth, too.
He had someone else play his games
No longer would she let him control
Or do what he put her through.
