looking for
just the right dirt
looking to
make brown sugar 
mud

finding 
so adding sweat
and spit and coming
along to take
on shape

kneading
doughish
needing
drips or
drops
more

to keep wet
pliable from
a bun to a
mud
pie

i create as
i speak to
try to make
a likeness
of you

my precious

It is loosely based on the Jewish creation of a golem. The phrase "I create as I speak" in a way goes back to "In the beginning was the word." Also I ended it with "my precious" from the words of Tolkein's turned into a creature Golum. The book trilogy is very much religious; but the movies have brought a cult following that I hope truly understand.
