Masking the Pain

One day she was Jane
 Next day she was Mary
 Was she going insane?
 I found it quite scary

 She went to the therapist
 He treated her with hypnosis
For a while she was fine
And then she said her name was Caroline

So she went back to the therapist
So he could come up with another plan
 But something was amiss
This time she called herself Ann!

I had four women in one
But there was a little girl inside
Who was trying to mask the pain
 of her childhood trauma
But her tears she could not hide
                     ----

So sad that this happens, trying so hard to deal with that harsh, gripping pain. Well done, congratulations!
