Masked Evil

Terrified but unafraid
Seeking death to attract dilemma
Hanging on to all I say
I want to fall but live forever

Realise I was never real
Projecting life through my own delusions
Stood to hear I can never fail
Try again and kneel to their illusion

Prophesize the end of this
Evolve beyond my self destruction
Human lemmings with a bag of bliss
Walking on under death’s instruction

Terrified but unafraid
Rose to kill but remember what I pay
Burning mirrors ‘til the end of days
Justified through nature’s masquerade

Close my eyes and think of love
Erasing you and everything I’ve done
Close my mouth and kill us all because
A love for light justifies destroying us
My evil eyes pray for a thousand burning suns
