Mask and Latex Gloves
MASK AND LATEX GLOVES
During the world pandemic,
I’ve kept myself to myself
And stayed indoors for the best part,
To try to protect my health
I’ve taken all the precautions,
To ward off the infection.
(Although I haven’t gone quite as far
As a disinfectant injection)
When I visit the store for provisions,
I do as the government ask.
I keep a social distance
And wear latex gloves and a mask
I’ve posted a photo on Facebook,
To prove that I’m doing my part.
My friends have clicked on the ‘like’ box
And many have clicked the ‘love’ heart.
But, when the pandemic’s over
And the threat of the virus has gone,
My friends are all unanimous.
Please will I keep the mask on!
