Mask

I wish I could say that I am me
But that’s a lie
I wish I could say I don’t know pain
But that’s a lie
I wish I could smile and mean it
But that’s a lie
I wish I could say I’m not hunted by my past
But that’s a lie
All that I am is a mask
Inside I don’t know who I am
It’s too dark inside
