Mask
I was thinking
About the virus and all
How it affected both big and small
How it mirrors
Our current life
With the media’s daily alarm
Of grief and strife
And its funny how similar
They both are
Both are the enemy near and far
Both do their best
To take from you
Both wont rest until your through
Both want control of you inside and out
Using control through political clout
They want you “safe” to keep you in fear
They want you home sitting on your rear
Teaching you to scream “don’t come near”
They will tell you when it’s “all clear”
We estimate Nov 3rd my dear
How do we know? You may ask
That’s easy my minion in the mask
Because you’re a sheep and you follow your task
