Mary Land

Though I only knew you for the moment
forever more will you dwell with me
A love as true as the ocean’s blue
can be found in you so free
Do not take offense for crimes such as these
for I barely knew your name
But forever more shall I speak of the
when I think of that night back in Mary land
It was a fonder time then these
That I long for I do confess
what was once the loveliest of hearts
is now a shriveled wretch
So good bye I shall look for the no more
for no more can I with stand
The thought I lost what was once so dear to me
back on that night in Mary land
