Mary found her lost frog
When Mary had found her frog
With her lamb and cute sweet dog
She was happy to stay home
No more hankering to roam.
Years past and Mary left home
She got a place of her own
Not far from mom and pappy
Her and the pets were happy.
They lived on contentedly
Till Mary met her guy Bradley
At first she thought he was very nice
Then found he was the bane of her life.
All her pets would have to go
Before they wed, Bradley said so
Mary cried and knew that it wasn't fair
If he loved her, he'd be happy to share.
Mary told Bradley to leave her free
To live and love again happily
Angry he was and took all her pets
And left them at the local vets.
Mary was distressed inside herself
Said she'd happily stay on the shelf
That if one day she was asked to marry
It wouldn't be to a man named Bradley.
